HPASOS OVERVIEW
The HPASOS system is a pneumatically powered pulsed oxygen delivery system, designed specifically to protect the pilots and aircrew of unpressurised rotary wing aircraft from the effects of hypoxia when flying at altitudes in excess of 8,000ft.

The Pneumatic Oxygen Delivery Unit is one of the key components of the Helicopter Pilot and Aircrew Supplementary Oxygen System (HPASOS).
KEY FEATURES
- Pneumatically powered, no need for batteries.
- Pulse oxygen delivery method giving very good endurance.
- 0.4-ltr capacity cylinder gives approximately 1hr duration.
- Emergency constant flow setting.

The Oronasal Mask Assembly has been designed in conjunction with the POD Unit, again as a key component of the HPASOS system.

- Includes communications.
- Easy to connect to the user helmet.
- Easy to tighten onto face - one handed operation.
- Very comfortable to wear with almost no resistance to breathing.
